Jack L. Klink

Seaside resident, 63Jack L. Klink, 63, of Seaside died in Seaside Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004.

Mr. Klink was born Dec. 8, 1940 in Portland to William Dolan and Leona Suhr Klink. His mother survives, living in Troutdale.

Mr. Klink grew up in Portland. He attended St. Ignatius Grade School and graduated from Franklin High School. He joined the U.S. Army and served in Korea. When he returned, he started a career in retail sales. Family members said he loved cars and music and enjoyed playing golf.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Klink is survived by a daughter, Lauren Miller of Culver; three sons, Lance, Lane and Ladd Klink, all of Portland; a brother, Roger Klink and a sister, Peggy Bennett, both of Troutdale; and three grandchildren.

A private service will be held.

Hughes-Ransom Mortuary & Crematory in Seaside is in charge of arrangements.
