Christina Elizabeth Kuhnly

Nursing assistant, 33Christina Elizabeth Kuhnly, 33, of Astoria, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003 in Seaside.

Mrs. Kuhnly was born Dec. 20, 1969 in Seattle to Darrell H. Hofman and Gale Rosinski. Her mother survives, residing in Hertford, N.C.

Mrs. Kuhnly was raised in Florida and moved to Astoria in 1986, where she attended Astoria High School.

She was a member of the Astoria Rotary Club. Family members said she enjoyed her career as a nursing assistant in the emergency room at Columbia Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Kuhnly is survived by her husband, Lane Kuhnly of Astoria; a daughter, Adrienne Kuhnly of Astoria; two stepsons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Kristin Kuhnly of Ridgefield, Wash., and Matthew and Traci Kuhnly of Svensen; a grandson, Daniel Kuhnly of Ridgefield; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Amanda Silvers of Seattle, Rhonda and Rick Benoit of Orient, Wash., Barbara Kline of Bellevue, Wash., and Julie and Pete Heller of Santa Clara, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her father died earlier.

No service will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 380 S.E. Spokane St., Suite 110, Portland, OR 97202.

Caldwell's Luce-Layton Mortuary in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
