Ruby Linville

Former area resident, 63Ruby Linville, 63, of Clackamas, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, in Clackamas.

Mrs. Linville was born April 28, 1939, in Onamia, Minn., to Mildred and Lester Smith.

In September 1958, she married Bill Williams in Renton, Wash.; they divorced in 1983. In November 1985, she married Riley Linville in Reno, Nev.; he survives, residing in Clackamas.

Mrs. Linville lived in Clatsop County from 1958 to 1983. She worked at the New England Fish Company, AAA Autoclub and Kevin Howard Real Estate. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and being with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Dede Dodge of Warrenton; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Faye Williams of Astoria; four grandchildren, Jason, Joshua and Joey Williams, all of Astoria, and Darylanne Dodge of Warrenton; five stepchildren, Jeannie Birch, Terri McEachern and Marcia Tolliver, all of Milwaukie, Karen Chesemore of Vancouver and Ross Linville of Toledo; 15 step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; 10 brothers and sisters throughout the United States; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial is 1 p.m. Saturday at the Oregon City Elks Lodge, 610 McLoughlin Boulevard.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lower Columbia Hospice, 2111 Exchange Street, Astoria, OR 97103 or the March of Dimes, 1220 S.W. Morrison, Portland, OR 97205.

The family is in charge of arrangements.
