Kenneth C. Lum
Restaurant owner, 74Kenneth C. Lum, 74, of Portland, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004 at home.
He was born Sept. 18, 1929 in Portland to Emily and Dr. Kenneth Lum, Sr.
Mr. Lum was raised in Portland.
In 1952, he married Ruth Lee. She survives, living in Portland.
Mr. Lum was a restaurant owner for many years. He moved to Astoria in 1989, where he worked in the fish protein industry. In 1995 he moved back to Portland.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Lum is survived by two daughters and sons-in law Linda and Eric Doler of Portland, and Debra and Glenn Yee of Honolulu; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Jodie Lum of Seattle, and Kirk and Barbara (Cauchon) Lum of Boston; two cousins, Duncan Law and Dr. Duane Jue, of Astoria; and eight grandchildren, Nicki and Caitlyn Doler, Meris, Michael and Megan Yee, Jeremiah, Christa and Katy Lum.
Private services were held.
