Shirley A. Lundberg
Seaside resident, 77Shirley A. Lundberg, 77, of Palm Desert, Calif. and Seaside, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002, in Palm Springs, Calif.
Mrs. Lundberg was born March 25, 1925 in Dallas, to Raymond Scott.
In December 1948, she married Walker Lundberg of Seaside. He survives, residing in Palm Desert and Seaside.
Mrs. Lundberg graduated from Seaside High School in 1943. She graduated from Oregon State University and remained active with the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. In 1951, she moved to Fresno, Calif., and three years later, to Sanger, Calif. For the past several years, she lived in Palm Desert. She stayed connected to Seaside and owned a condominium, which she came to every summer.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Susan Corden of Baltimore, Jani Gurash of Fairmont, W.Va., and Emily W. Lundberg of Los Altos, Calif.; five grandchildren, Evynn Overton and Scotte Corden, both of Baltimore, Rollie Corden of Eugene and Eli and Heather Gurash of Fairmont; a brother Norman Scott of Salem; and a sister, Louise Jorgusen of Portland.
Memorial will be held in Seaside later.
