Nancy "Jane" Prince

Homemaker, 86Nancy "Jane" Prince, 86, of Warrenton, died Sept. 3, 2004 at Cullaby Lake.

Mrs. Prince was born, Aug. 23, 1918, in Gold Beach, to Homer and Nancy (Steele) Woodward.

In 1936 she married Leonard J. Prince. He died in 1992.

Mr. and Mrs. Prince lived in Portland and Beaverton for many years. From 1980 to 1991, they spent part of the year in Maui and the rest of the year at their Cullaby Lake home. After 1991 Mrs. Prince was a permanent resident of Cullaby Lake.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed golf, bridge, football, family activities, entertaining and hosting parties. According to family she had a great sense of humor and was a great cook.

Mrs. Prince is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kathie Prince and Barry Kroeplin of Wilsonville, one son and his fiance', L. Jan Prince and Shelley St'Ores of Beaverton, four grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, six step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday at Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Warrenton. Committal will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Finley's Sunset Hills Cemetery in Portland.

Hughes-Ransom Cremation and Mortuaries of Astoria in charge of arrangements.
