Jeanette Ruth Hart Rapp

Clatsop County resident, 43Jeanette Ruth Hart Rapp, 43, of Astoria, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004 in Portland after a long illness.

Ms. Rapp was born Nov. 4, 1960 in Portland and was adopted Nov. 25, 1960 by Vernon and Delores Hart of Warrenton. They survive, living in Warrenton.

Ms. Rapp was attended schools in Warrenton.

Family members said she was very devoted to her family and her great love was for animals of all kinds.

Ms. Rapp is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Hart of Wisconsin, Allyson Wentz of Fort Lewis, Wash., and Ashlee Grafton of Astoria; a grandson, Tyler Hart of Astoria, a brother and sister-in-law, Marty and Jeanie Hart; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also survived by the father of her daughters, Dan Grafton of Astoria, and a special friend, Kevin Martins of Knappa.

A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Warrenton. Private interment will be held later.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an account to assist Ms. Rapp's children at the Wells Fargo Bank in Astoria.
