William Anthony Senick

Active church member, 37William Anthony Senick, 37, of Lake Oswego, died Monday, April 12, 2004 in Lake Oswego.

Mr. Senick was born Aug. 16, 1966 in Portland to William and Patricia (Curtis) Senick. They survive.

In 1989, he married Heidi Leas in Hillsboro. She survives, residing in Lake Oswego.

After moving to several locations in the Gresham area and spending time in Long Beach, Wash., and Longview, Wash., he and his family settled in Lake Oswego, where he worked for Safeway.

On July 20, 2003, Mr. Senick became a part of Faith Lutheran Church in Seaside where his father-in-law is the pastor. Family members say he was a talented musician, dedicated usher and an active church member, despite the distance between Lake Oswego and Seaside.

He is survived by two sons, Christopher and Matthew Senick of Lake Oswego; and two brothers, Lawrence Smith and Jerry Senick of Portland.

Viewing will be between 9 a.m. and noon Friday at Hughes-Ransom Funeral Home, 220 N. Holladay Drive, Seaside.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church, 1115 Broadway, Seaside. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Seaside.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Seaside, in care of Hughes-Ransom Cremation & Mortuaries, 220 N. Holladay Drive., Seaside, OR 97138.
