Dorothy June Walling

Warrenton resident, 80Dorothy June Walling, 80, of Warrenton, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, in Portland.

Mrs. Walling was born June 4, 1923, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Bayton and Ester Stoddard. She graduated from high school Anchorage and then attended Edison Vocational School in the Seattle area. Later she attended nursing school in San Francisco, graduating with an Licensed Practical Nursing license.

In 1959, she married Bob Walling.

In addition to her husband of 44 years, Mrs. Walling is survived by a son, Robert Walling of Springfield; a daughter, Denise Hissner of Vancouver, Wash.; two grandsons, Trevor and Alex Walling of Springfield; a granddaughter, Chelsie Culp of Vancouver; and two sisters, Beth Allen and Vivian Laurie. Another sister, Fay Eskilson, died in December, 2003.

Mrs. Walling will be buried at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. No service will be held.
