Kevin LeRoy Pierce went to be with the Lord September 6, 2013, in Astoria, from an aneurysm. Kevin was born in Sandpoint, ID, and grew up and went to school in Astoria. He loved to sing karaoke, and go fishing and camping with his family. One of his most favorite things to do was to cook and create different recipes to share with his family.

He married Tanya Pierce December 2, 2000. He was the son of Jim and Shela Pierce, and the General Manager of the family business, J&S Appliance and Home Furnishings in Warrenton.

He is survived by his wife Tanya Pierce, his children Mackenzie, Makaylah, and Derek Pierce; his siblings, Tawni Massey of Warrenton, Paul and Michele Pierce of Astoria, and Larry and Julie Pierce of Spokane, WA. He is also survived by his nephews, Nathan Massey, Tanner Pierce, Michael Pierce, Jimmie Pierce; nieces, Tara Massey, and Rylee Pierce, and a great niece, Jazmyn Short.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Philip and Helen Misner, paternal grandparents Joseph and Leora Pierce and a sister and brother.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Bank of Astoria for his childrenÂ’s educational needs.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Gateway Community Church in Hammond, 796 Pacific Drive, Hammond, OR 97121, 9/14/13 at 11 am.
