Stella M. Kutter, 93, of Seaside, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, in Astoria.

She was born Oct. 9, 1918, in Bismark, N.D., to Harold A. McIntyre and Jean Dunbar.

In 1936, she graduated from Washington High School in Portland.

On Sept. 22, 1946, she married Henry F. Kutter. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Kutter had lived in Seaside since retiring in 1979.

She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

Family members said she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, reading and puzzles.

She is survived by two nieces, Mary Lou Harlan of Seaside and Janice Smith of Cannon Beach; three nephews, James Haney of Portland, Harold McIntyre of Milwaukie and William Haney of Clackamas; 10 great-nieces and great-nephews, Joelle Burk of Seaside, Andrea Fry, Bunnie and Cameron Haney, Leslie Gutierrez and Matthew McIntyre, all of Portland, Robert Haney of Vancouver, Wash., Brian Smith of Arch Cape, Mark Smith of Seattle and Douglas McIntyre of New York, N.Y.; eight great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Tyler Smith of Arch Cape, Lucas and Adelynn Gutierrez, Branden Boyd, Jacob Fry and Landyn Haney, all of Portland, and Kimberly Zundel and Ashley Burk of Seaside; and one great-great-great-nephew, Wyatt Zundel of Seaside.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 2, at Hughes Ransom Cremation & Mortuaries, 220 N. Holladay Drive in Seaside.

A recitation of the rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, with a Mass at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 120 Oceanway in Seaside. A reception will be held at the church following the service.

Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Portland.
