I just got back from the Calpine meeting. There were lots of answers but many were misleading.

I was so hurt and upset, because they didn't care about our environment.

I've lived on my boat on the Skipanon for over two years. I fall asleep and wake to all the river music in my ears.

There's the raccoon, the otter, the coyote, the deer and seagull. There's hundreds of other animals, birds, fish and the mighty eagle.

A lot of these will be gone after Calpine gets done. It's all going to be a mess in the long run.

The port and the politicians sold us out. We didn't even know what it was all about.

I hope it's not too late. Who knows what will be our fate?

God gave us the Skipanon to enjoy, not for Calpine to destroy.
