Oh, if only I had a brain, I should be able to understand why imported liquefied natural gas is better than natural gas produced in the Rocky Mountain states. When this economy is just short of science fiction, why would NorthernStar want to import LNG, benefiting offshore economies?

If I only had a brain, I could figure out how a turning basin big enough to accommodate oceangoing ships would be maintained without constant dredging. I am told that the shipping channel at Bradwood is 600 feet wide. The turning basin would be 1,000 to 1,500 feet in diameter and 40 feet deep. Will this have no impact on fish? Will this cause no interruption to marine traffic?

If I only had a brain, I would understand why a special interest is given the right of eminent domain to better secure their six-figure incomes, to do with private property as they see fit for pipelines and any other use, and have never, nor will they ever, pay any county property taxes.

If I only had a brain, I would be happy about losing pasture land to right of way for two service roads, and one acre for a compressor station, when it will only cost me from $5000 to $1,000 in lost pasture rent annually.

I could go on, and mention more negatives about LNG, but it would be boring to those much smarter than I.
