Why stop at only one Oregon state employee, when we could have done so much more for them?

Our upcoming local ballot measure seeking to continue fortification of our district attorney's state salary should have instead been written to force our county to pay bonuses to all underpaid Oregon state employees elected to hold posts in Clatsop County.

After all, the street we live on hasn't been paved by the county for some 33 years. Perhaps we can seek a state ballot measure to force Salem to pay for our under-funded county expenses?

Anyone care for a fresh can of illogical worms?
