As a nonresident property owner, I am very concerned about the impending highway vote. I have invested a lot of money and a good deal of time restoring two houses in Seaside. I have improved a rundown neighborhood and take a lot of pride in being a Seaside property owner. I have made a very positive contribution to the town's economy and future, and I care about what goes on here. Because I am usually here only on weekends, I both contribute to and suffer from the congestion. It gets worse every year, and something must be done.

I have seen the plans for the new highway, and I am very impressed. Seaside has done much to clean up the town in the last few years, and the highway is both the logical and necessary next step. I urge the voters of Seaside to vote "yes" for the Highway 101 project, and for the future of Seaside.
