lt isn't too often that I agree with the editorial opinion of The Daily Astorian, which is why I felt so refreshed to see the one published that was titled "Marquis gives city the obvious choice" (April 8). 

I am very pleased that our district attorney, sheriff and local judge are putting pressure on the city of Astoria to do this. It makes me proud that I voted for these three, and I sincerely hope that the city of Astoria does follow their suggestions. I can't say I have much faith, considering the mayor's own record, but one can hope.

To the city of Astoria - please, listen to these three individuals, and the media. "Obvious choice" is the perfect term for this.
