Ignore a potential problem and it will go away (hopefully). The city and the Oregon Department of Transportation are to be commended for hopefully reducing the flooding problem south of Seaside.

However, another major problem may arise. The city of Bandon, located on the South Coast, had a water problem, and as a result eliminated pasture land and created wetlands. Unfortunately, they also created a major infestation of mosquitoes.

The city of Bandon and a major golf course located a few miles from the wetlands are suffering as a result. Hopefully, the annual spraying, at an expense of over $50,000, will eliminate the problem.
