The Lower Columbia Hispanic Council would like to acknowledge the generous grants it received from the Key Clubs of both the Warrenton and Astoria High Schools to fund emergency care for uninsured members of our community suffering from dental pain.

The studentsÂ’ hard work and commitment made possible substantial matching funds from the Harold and Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation. These funds will be leveraged even further because the Hispanic Council partners with the Seaside Providence Foundation and Medical Teams International, both of whom bring the dental van to the North Coast four times a year.

We send a heartfelt thank you to the students, their school advisers, Jessica West and Kerry Strickland, and to the Schnitzers, who made this all possible. We appreciate your initiative and follow-through to make our community a better and healthier place to live.
