Unbelievable. A couple from Young’s River area stopped at The Logger in Knappa, mid-day (noon) and spent an hour inside, enjoying their lunch while their Pomeranian dog was left to suffer in a black pickup in full sun – 80 in the shade at my house, only two blocks away, so you can imagine how hot it had to get in that truck.

Sadly, there was a nice large shade tree in the overflow parking lot just down the road that they should have parked under for the safety and comfort of their pet, and walked the few extra feet to the restaurant.

I sincerely hope they read this letter and feel duly ashamed of themselves.
