CORBETT — Luke Wilson needed just 73 pitches and six innings to beat the Cardinals 13-2 Monday afternoon at Corbett in a Lewis & Clark League baseball game.

Wilson scattered five hits with three walks and two strikeouts.

“Luke was big for us,” said Warrenton coach Lennie Wolfe. “I was hoping to get three or four innings from him, and he far surpassed my expectations.”

The Warriors have a doubleheader today at Rainier.

Offensively, Cole Jensen was 4-for-5 with two doubles, three runs scored and an RBI to lead Warrenton’s 10-hit attack.

Josh Biel was 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs, and Andrew Betz added two hits.
