OCOSTA - The Comets boys were a close second to Northwest Christian and the girls placed fourth at a Pacific League track meet at Ocosta Thursday. Nathan Reitz won the 1,600, Rob Baker captured the high jump blue ribbon and Drew Macy won the 400 for the Naselle boys. Nicole Laney won the pole vault for the Comets girls.

Laney was second in the 400 and Emily Green proved to be versatile as she was second in the triple jump and the 1,600. Naselle's 4x400 relay team of Jodi Christie, Green, Laney, and Danielle Larson was second, as well.

Kai Leach was second in the pole vault and the 100 meter dash, Baker took second in the long jump, Macy was second to him in the high jump, and Cramer Smith claimed second in the 1,600. The Comets 4x400 relay team of Macy, Reitz, Devin Thompson, and Baker also finished second.
