WOODLAND, Wash. - The Naselle cross country teams took part in a five-team meet at Woodland Wednesday, although both Comet teams were incomplete and did not figure into the team scoring.

The Comets still highlighted their meet with a pair of third-place finishes, as Evan Hendrickson (19:15) and Erin Saari (25:55) took third in their respective races.

Narci Carlson (6th, 28:16) and Kristiina Chism (seventh, 28:27) also competed for the Naselle girls, and Ryan Nortrup (24th, 23:14), Spencer Griss (26th, 23:40) and Garrick Bennett (30th, 25:32) ran for the boys.

Kalama won the boys' team title, while all girls' teams were incomplete. Hockinson, Montesano and Woodland also competed.

Naselle runs this weekend at Mt. Baker.
