KNAPPA - The Knappa Loggers built a 30-0 halftime lead, on their way to an easy 44-0 win over Nestucca Friday night in a Northwest League game.

Knappa held the Bobcats to 40 yards rushing on 40 carries, while Bryan Sablan averaged 11.2 yards per carry for the Loggers.

Sablan scored three touchdowns and rushed for 168 yards on 15 attempts, and quarterback Trevor Oja - in addition to completing 9-of-16 passes for 145 yards - ran for 63 yards and two touchdowns on just four carries.

Dalton Kelly capped the scoring with a 12-yard TD catch from Oja in the fourth quarter.

The Loggers (6-0 overall, 3-0 in the NWL) have a bye week, then play at Vernonia (0-5) Oct. 22.
