WARRENTON — Rainier’s Nick Hanks ran 49 yards for a touchdown on the first play of the game, sparking the Columbians to a 50-13 win at Warrenton Friday night, in a Lewis & Clark League regular season finale.

The Warriors trailed just 14-6 after one quarter, as quarterback Brock Johnson hooked up with Bradd Lundberg on a 75-yard touchdown for Warrenton.

Chris Brecht had the other touchdown for the Warriors, on a 5-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Hanks carried 15 times for 179 yards for the Columbians, and finished with three touchdowns (49, 37 and 9 yards). Teammate Cody Gellatly added TD runs of 14 and 41 yards, and Jordan Brittain rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown on six carries.

Rainier’s defense held Warrenton to 117 total yards, including negative yards on the ground.
