VERNONIA - Vernonia's Jeramey Lende scored on a one-yard run on the first possession of the second overtime Friday night, helping the Loggers score a 13-6 win over Warrenton.

Lende also had a one-yard TD run with two minutes left in regulation to send the game to overtime. The senior finished with 140 yards rushing on 25 attempts.

The Warriors had taken a 6-0 lead in the second quarter on Stephen Petersen's one-yard score.

After a scoreless first overtime session, the Loggers put up seven points in the second overtime on Lende's touchdown, with the point-after kick from Cody Davis.

Warrenton failed to score on its last possession, as Vernonia ended the game with an interception on fourth down.

Beau Torres rushed for 82 yards on 27 carries for the Warriors, while Alex Fenton caught five passes for 53 yards.
