CLOVERDALE — Warrenton recovered a fumble late in the fourth quarter, then drove 55 yards for the winning touchdown in a 22-21 victory at Nestucca Friday night.

Josh Biel caught a 10-yard pass from Jordan Cain with 1:54 left, then intercepted a pass on Nestucca’s last possession.

The Bobcats led 21-7 through three quarters, before the Warriors rallied with two scores in the fourth, the first on a 20-yard run by Cain.

Cain was 7-of-18 passing for 146 yards, with a first quarter TD pass to Cole Jensen, who had two catches for 76 yards.

The Warriors open league play Friday at home vs. Clatskanie.
