MENLO, Wash. — Willapa Valley’s first half was better than Naselle’s second half Friday night. Naselle’s 15 points in the fourth quarter was too late, as the Vikings jumped out to a 21-0 halftime lead, on their way to a 33-15 win over the Comets.

Naselle quarterback Sam Scrabeck was 14-for-15 passing the second half, and also scored on touchdown runs of 55 and three yards.

The Comets have a bye this week, before hosting Onalaska Oct. 11.
