ANDALUSIA, Ala. - The Kelso 15-year-old All-Stars - who defeated Astoria in the championship game of the Pacific Northwest Regionals - are now 2-0 in pool play at the 13-15 Babe Ruth World Series in Andalusia, Ala.

Kelso opened play Friday with a 5-4 win over Mobile, Ala., then scored a 7-3 victory over Honolulu Sunday morning.

Kelso had a four-run second inning in the win over Honolulu, with Dylan Slunaker driving in three runs on a bases-loaded triple. Brandon Middleton picked up the win on the mound.

Nick Laroy got the victory in the win over Mobile, as Kelso rallied from a 4-1 deficit with four runs in the top of the sixth. Kelso's Shay Dearing had a pair of doubles.

Pool play continues today.
