The first round Class 2A state football playoff game between Santiam and Knappa has been scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Knappa.

Ulbricht takes sixth placePASCO, Wash. - Ilwaco's Cameo Ulbricht finished sixth at the state 1A cross country meet last week in Pasco, and the Ilwaco girls placed 12th in the team standings.

Ulbricht's time was 20:04. Cindy Pacheco was 43rd among 140 runners in 21:48, followed by teammates Leticia Cervantes (58th, 22:17), Raven Rogers (99th, 23:31), Brittany King (136th, 28:47) and Nicole Meyers (139th, 32:23).

Naselle sophomore Cramer Smith finished 18th in the 1B/2B boys race in a time of 17:56, and teammate Nathan Reitz was 28th in 18:21. The race was run with winds gusting to 35 miles per hour.

Naselle state football playoff moved to FridayTACOMA - The first round of the state class 2B football playoffs game between Naselle and Tacoma Baptist has been moved to 7 p.m. Friday at Curtis High School. The game had originally been set for Saturday. The winner will play the winner of Valley and Concrete the next week, with time and place to be announced.
