NASELLE - The Comets broke an 8-8 tie by scoring three runs in the top of the seventh, but then Ocosta came back to plate four and earn a 12-11 Pacific 2B League softball game there Wednesday. Orianne Condon, Carley Kitzman, Makenzie Matthews, and Amber Wirkkala all slammed hits in the seventh frame, but the Lady Wildcats took advantage of two walks, two errors and three hits to win the game with two outs.

Matthews and Ciara Sandell were both 2-3 in the contest with two RBIs apiece. Naselle hadn't played in 19 days. Their record is now 1-2 in league and 4-3 for the year.
