SOUTH BEND - Nicole Laney won the 100 meters, the 800 meters, and the triple jump to help lead the girls to a second place finish behind South Bend in track action there on a blustery and damp Thursday. Samantha Bauer won the 200 meters, Danielle Larson was tops in the 400 meters, and the 4x100 relay team of Bauer, Larson, Laney, and Rachelle Underwood won first place, as well

Rob Baker edged Devin Thompson in the high jump and the duo and Jake Condon and Kai Leach teamed up to win the 4x100 relay. For the girls South Bend had 88 points, Naselle 48 and Mary M. Knight 26 and for the boys the Indians scored 73, the Comets were second with 37 and the Owls were a close third with 35.
