Friday’s much-anticipated boys basketball showdown with Seaside was canceled because of weather and road conditions, but the Knappa boys were able to cruise past Faith Bible three nights earlier, 77-29. Knappa’s home game Thursday vs. Vernonia was also canceled.

Faith Bible was no match against the No. 2-ranked Loggers, who were led by Logan Morrill’s 20 points and 18 points from Shane McMahan.

Knappa picked up three first-place votes in the latest coaches poll, trailing only Western Christian.

In the girls’ game, No. 4-ranked Faith Bible defeated the Lady Loggers, 47-28. Arianna Miller led Knappa with 18 points.
