JEWELL — A 19-6 run in the second quarter helped Livingstone Adventist build a 30-13 halftime lead Thursday, on its way to a 51-36 win at Jewell in a Casco League boys basketball game.

Marshel Dryden scored 12 points and Harrison Kroschel added 11 for the Lions, while Ben Stahly had 11 points and eight rebounds for the Blue Jays.

Jewell junior Jacob Lilley tossed in 10 points and snagged 10 rebounds for his first career double-double. Nathan Nelson and Ryan Kane both scored six points, with Nelson pulling down nine rebounds and Kane finishing with six steals and five boards.

Nathan Kane — one of five Jewell players honored on Senior Night — had eight rebounds for the Jays, who play Tuesday at Crosshill Christian.
