The 59th annual East-West Shriners All-Star football game, played Aug. 6 in Baker City, will be re-broadcast at 5 p.m. Thursday on Root Sports Northwest.

Astoria's Chance Banta and Jake Davis, along with Knappa's Bryan Sablan, all played in the game, which features the top seniors in the state (4A level and below) from the 2010 season.

Banta and Davis both made big plays throughout the game for the West squad, while an interception by Sablan set up a touchdown for the West, which defeated the East 20-6.

Sablan picked off Baker quarterback Jesse Brown on the first possession of the second half and returned the ball to the 4-yard line, setting up a one-play scoring drive that gave the West a 7-6 lead.
