TILLAMOOK — Astoria and Tillamook split a Cowapa League softball doubleheader Monday, with Astoria winning Game 1 8-3, before the Mooks bounced back for a 4-3 victory in Game 2.

Noelle Lund pitched the Fishermen to victory in the opener, allowing just two hits with nine strikeouts and two walks.

Bailey Haskell had two of Astoria’s seven hits, including a double in the sixth inning.

The Lady Fish actually trailed 3-2 heading into the top of the seventh inning, when they erupted for six runs on their way to the win.

In Game 2, Tillamook broke a 3-3 tie with a run in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Haskell had another double for Astoria, while Lund and Zhoe Rub each had a pair of singles.

Astoria hosts Scappoose for a single game today.
