SEASIDE — Still in the hunt for a Regional Play-in spot, the Astoria softball team swept a pair of games at Seaside Tuesday, 10-0 and 18-1.

The Lady Fish improve to 4-7 in Cowapa League play, tied with Tillamook, which hosts Astoria for a doubleheader today.

Noelle Lund tossed a no-hitter in Game 1, walking two with two strikeouts. She faced just 16 batters.

Lund also had a triple at the plate, while Brittany Hankel and Bryn Watters each had a double.

Astoria pounded out 15 hits in five at-bats in Game 2, and scored 12 runs in the first inning. Olivia Israel and Bailey Haskell each had a triple, and Ward was 4-for-5.

Lund pitched all five innings, allowing four hits with six strikeouts and two walks.
