CORBETT — Five Warrenton errors led to seven unearned runs for Corbett Tuesday, as the Cardinals scored a 10-3 win over the Warriors in a Lewis & Clark League softball game.

Warrenton outhit Corbett 9-6, but the Cards scored three runs in the first inning, and added two in the fourth, two in the fifth and two in the sixth on their way to the victory.

Corbett’s starting pitcher, junior Lindsay Miller, left the game after one inning with an injury, and was replaced by freshman Makenna Stafford.

Brooke Cederberg went the distance for the Warriors, striking out nine with six walks.

Offensively, four Warrenton players (Savannah Thomas, Mady Hanna, Aleah Hobbs and Bailey Jensen) had two hits apiece.

Kailyn Hooley had a triple and Stafford had a double for the Cardinals, who committed six errors in the win.

The Warriors host Valley Catholic Friday.
