The Knappa and Jewell track teams both wrapped up action in their respective district meets, Friday and Saturday at Portland Christian.
Portland Christian was the team winner for both the boys and girls in the Northwest League, while the Loggers and Blue Jays had several athletes with top four finishes.
For the Knappa girls, freshman Alisha Geisler was third in both the 100 meters (13.33) and 200 meters (29.03), and Logger sophomore Xoey Jones was fifth in the javelin (79-2).
On the boys side, Knappa freshman Chris Cruz was third in the 3,000 meters (9:58.79) and fifth in the 1,500 meters (4:38.79); and freshman Devin Allen was fourth in the 400 meters (56.38) and 800 meters (2:16.80).
Sophomore Mitch Whiteside took fourth in the 110-meter hurdles (18.56) and fifth in the 300-meter hurdles (46.67).
Elsewhere, Logger sophomore Kolebey Vaughn had a jump of 18-0 for fourth in the long jump. Knappa freshman Ryan Simpson was seventh in the triple jump (30-01/2).
In the Casco League meet, Jewell junior Blake Ellis soared 18-7 for second in the long jump, qualifying for the 1A state meet.
Jewell junior Randi Harhart cleared 4-8 for third in the high jump; and sophomore Alexa Armstrong was sixth in the 100-meter hurdles (19.86) and seventh in the discus (74-6).
