CORBETT The Warrenton track team had mixed results Tuesday, in a five-way meet at Portland Christian.
Corbett, Oregon Episcopal, Portland Christian, Valley Catholic and the Warriors all took part in the meet.
The Warrenton boys scored 26 points to finish third in the team standings, behind Valley Catholic (52) and Corbett (28); while the Warrenton girls managed just one point, finishing behind Valley Catholic (90.5), Portland Christian (27), Corbett (15.5) and OES (11).
Highlighting the meet for the Warriors was Jordan Hollaways win in the discus (128 feet, 10 inches teammate Jesse Calvert was a distant second at 90-5) and Kyle Bentons victory in the shot put (36-7). Jordan Cain captured the javelin with a toss of 148-3, ahead of teammate Micah Sivley, second with a 132-4. Hollaway was fourth (100-1) and Nathan Bighill fifth (96-10).
Curtis Marxer placed second in the 300-meter hurdles (45.59 seconds) and third in the 110-meter hurdles (17.92); Juan Salcedo was third in the shot put (31-3); Liam Baker was fourth in the 400 meters (56.71); Trey Eller was fifth in the 3,000 meters (12:21.71); and Christian Martinez placed sixth in the 1,500 meters (4:48.76).
Warrenton placed fourth in both relay events.
Sophomore Katherine Carey had the highest finish for the Warrenton girls, taking third in the 3,000 (14:12.97), just in front of teammates Kim Dowaliby and Lexie Lundberg.
Romana King was fifth in the 400 (1:11.04).
