CLATSKANIE - Clatskanie will be the No. 2 seed from the Lewis & Clark League, following a 17-5 win over Warrenton Thursday afternoon in a league baseball playoff at Clatskanie.

Warrenton scored three runs in its first at-bat, but the Tigers bounced back with two runs in their half of the first, followed by six runs in the second, four in the third and five in the fourth.

Kirby Wemmer had a home run for the Tigers, and Trevor Marioni added two doubles. Logan Gressett was the winning pitcher, while Thomas McFadden took the loss.

Warrenton's Alex Carlson was 2-for-2 with three RBIs, and Reese Johnson and Billy Kerr each had a double for the Warriors.

Warrenton will head to Santiam Christian for a first-round state playoff game Tuesday, time to be announced.
